Owusu & Partners is a full-service law firm offering expertise in Business Law, Civil Litigation, Family Law, Criminal Defense, Real Estate Law, and Immigration Law. Our attorneys also advise on cross-border matters involving Ghanaian, ECOWAS, and international law. Please visit our Services page for a full description of each practice area.
Our fee arrangements depend on the nature of the matter. We offer hourly billing, fixed fees for defined transactions (such as property conveyancing or company incorporation), and retainer arrangements for ongoing advisory work. In certain contentious matters we may agree a conditional fee arrangement. We will always provide a clear written fee estimate before any work begins so there are no surprises.
Yes. Everything you share with our attorneys is protected by legal professional privilege and strict attorney-client confidentiality. We will never disclose your information to any third party without your express consent, except where required by law. Confidentiality applies from your very first consultation, even if you do not ultimately engage us.
Bring any documents directly relevant to your matter - for example, contracts, court papers, correspondence, property deeds, or identification documents. A written chronology of key events is also very helpful. Do not worry if you do not have everything; our attorneys will guide you on what additional information may be needed after the initial consultation.
Timelines vary considerably depending on the type and complexity of the matter. A straightforward company incorporation may take one to two weeks, while contested litigation can span several months or longer. During your consultation our attorneys will give you a realistic timeline based on the specific facts of your case and keep you updated as matters progress.
